My work takes me across the globe, and as much as I love discovering new cuisines, it–€™s the people I meet that truly enrich these experiences. Whenever I travel, I ask locals to take me to their favorite hidden spots–€”restaurants far from tourist paths, or places that hold the flavors of their childhood. Some of my fondest memories are meals in Chinese night markets, Korean fish stalls, tucked-away Japanese seafood joints, rustic Tuscan osterias, and the comforting embrace of Mediterraen home-cooked dishes.
